What kind of church are we?
Quest Church is an independent, non-denominational, Christian church that is seeking to respond to the needs of our community.
Everyone is welcome at Quest. No one here is perfect or has it all figured out. So come as you are. If you like what you see, we hope you will take this journey with us, because we need all the help we can get: we intend to be busy finding God, serving others, and getting things done in new ways here in Arlington Heights. There’s no magic wand, incantation, or dispensation necessary. If you are on this path of discovering Jesus and serving others, you are a quester.
What makes Quest different?
Arlington Heights sits just east of two world-famous megachurches and is home to the largest Catholic church in the suburbs – we love those guys, but we are not in competition with them, nor do we seek to be like them. Quest hopes to bring together a little bit of the best of whatever’s out there – contemporary, engaging music, relevant, biblical messages, hands-on, life-transforming outreach, and life-on-life fellowship – but at Quest we can do what none of them can. We can be interactive, collaborative and conversational – which is much more difficult to accomplish in a larger, more traditional setting. And even as we grow, we will continue to value questions and dialog over lectures and sermons. We value your voice. We want to know your story.
If this sounds like something you might be interested in, give Ed a holler. Grab your friends, roll up your sleeves, and put on some comfortable shoes, because the one thing you can’t do on a quest is stay right where you are.
